brisbane whale watching
Whale watching is seasonal in Australia, generally confined to the winter months when humpback and southern right whales migrate north to breed in warmer waters.
Humpbacks can be seen along the New SOuth Wales and Queensland coast from June until Spetember. Hervey Bay (4 hours north of Brisbane) is the only place where pods of whales regularly come right into the bay.
